FAQ

# Frequently Asked Questions

The things people ask most about how we work. If yours isn't here, ask — we'll answer.

### General

What exactly does YCF Digital do?+

We look at your business, then we tell you which tool is needed and apply it. We're not a Shopify agency, we're not a Google Ads agency — we're an agency that does whichever one is needed and looks at it without bias. Google Ads, Shopify, Amazon, Meta, SEO, web and software — all in-house.

Are you registered in Turkey?+

Yes. YCF Digital is a brand registered in Turkey. Our operation is based in Bayraklı/İzmir (Folkart Towers B Block). We also have a separate legal entity in Wyoming, US (Yellow Cart Family Store LLC) — international invoicing runs through that.

Is the first conversation paid?+

No. We review your business first, then we talk; we don't charge for this part. We charge when we do the work.

Do you give guarantees?+

No. We don't sell promises — we do work. We always show what we did and why. Low or high, we report it the same way. For us, that's giving an account — not giving a guarantee.

Is there a minimum budget?+

Every job is its own thing. Instead of a minimum number, we look at what the job requires. Doing what your budget allows — rather than trying to sell less or more than that — is healthier.

### Google Ads

Do I need a website before running Google Ads?+

No. For businesses on our Google Ads management, we set up the ad's landing page free for as long as management continues; there is no minimum term. Don't postpone ads because your site isn't ready — start and see the results. Ad spend and the management fee are separate. If you end the service, the page transfers to you for a transfer fee or is taken offline. Multi-page corporate sites and e-commerce sites are not included.

Does everyone need Google Ads?+

No. For some businesses Google Ads is the right call, for others it's burning money. We look at where the budget would come back from; if SEO or a direct sales channel makes more sense than ads, we say so.

What does being a Google Partner mean?+

It's a stamp from Google for agencies that pass its performance thresholds and exams. The practical benefit: early access to beta features and direct Google support. For the client it means the agency knows the plumbing of the work — nothing more.

How is the budget set?+

We look at your sector, the competition, the goal and the business model. Then we work out keyword costs and conversion potential. We don't recommend greedy budgets — we start with the minimum that can pay back, and scale as the data comes in.

When do results come?+

Traffic, immediately. Optimised results in 2–4 weeks. A healthy campaign usually settles in 60–90 days. Don't trust anyone who says 'we exploded this week'.

### Shopify

What does being a Shopify Partner do for me?+

We have access to Shopify's internal training, beta features and priority support. The practical benefit: we know the lesser-known or new features. For you, that means we can press the right points in the work.

Can you migrate my current site to Shopify?+

Yes. WooCommerce, Magento, Ticimax, IdeaSoft and other platforms — we handle migrations in-house. Products, customers, order history and SEO values are preserved. A bad migration kills SEO; we work carefully.

Do you do theme customisation?+

Yes. We adapt existing themes to the brand, and we write custom themes from scratch (Liquid + HTML + CSS + JS). The real difference of a store usually comes out here.

Do you have a Shopify app?+

Yes. Our own app, ShopSEO, is live on the Shopify App Store. It's a tool that runs the technical SEO setup of a Shopify store from a single panel. See the Shopify service page for details.

### Amazon

What does Amazon consulting cover?+

From A to Z. Account opening, product listings, A+ content, FBA logistics, PPC ads, Brand Registry, store design, competitive analysis. We work as an Amazon Ads Partner. Every marketplace is different — we work accordingly.

I'm new to Amazon, where do we start?+

First we look at whether the product is in the right marketplace. Then account opening, listing, pricing and logistics. Building it right matters more than selling fast — once an Amazon account is set up wrong, fixing it costs much more.

Do you manage Amazon PPC?+

Yes. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display — we run all of them in-house. We build campaign structures around ACoS and TACoS targets. We know which keyword to keep and which placement to close.

Which Amazon marketplaces do you work on?+

Amazon US, UK and all of EU (DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, PL, SE). We run multiple marketplaces in parallel.

### SEO, GEO & Marketing

How long until SEO works?+

SEO is a long-term investment. Technical fixes show effect in 1–3 months. Visible movement in keyword rankings usually in 3–6 months. Healthy organic traffic growth in 6–12 months. It varies with competition and current state. Don't trust someone who says 'we'll be number one in a month'.

What is technical SEO?+

The settings that let the site be crawled, indexed and understood correctly by Google. Speed, mobile fit, architecture, sitemap, robots, Schema/JSON-LD, canonical tags, Core Web Vitals. Invisible — but everything else depends on it.

What is GEO, and does it work without SEO?+

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of making sure AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity can read your site and recommend it as the answer to the right question. It doesn't work without SEO: AI assistants read a site by crawling it too. That's why we first audit the site from start to finish and bring SEO up to best practices, then set up llms.txt, Markdown versions, structured data, language versions and AI crawler access.

How do you run Meta ads?+

Audience segmentation, A/B tests, dynamic formats, conversion optimisation. We work funnel-style with retargeting and lookalike audiences. Regular reporting and a clear breakdown of what was spent on what.

Do you do content marketing?+

Yes. SEO-friendly blog, industry writing, social media and email. We build it on keyword and intent analysis, then open an editorial calendar. We don't produce filler — every piece answers a question.
