Shopify Customized Theme

First Impression

The customer came by stating that they have an XML file to add products in bulk. They have mockups of the site they want, there are sample sites.

It wants a simple but functional, modern, minimalist global e-commerce site that is neither exactly like one of the sample sites nor exactly like any of them.

The company, which is closely involved with the design as well as the data they have, doesn’t actually know that the XML list they have is not compatible with Shopify.

They want to use the domain they used on their old site. But the domain was transferred to 2 different websites, in 2 completely different variants, and the DNS service had to spend a lot of time to find out where.

The project, which we received only as a site design, was turning into a fully customized theme due to the fact that the site structure they wanted did not match any theme.

Nothing turned out as the client had initially envisioned and described it to us. But the project could have been done. Price disputes were corrected.

Conclusion

The site was made exactly as requested. From time to time, small revisions come from time to time, we intervene in them, but the project is technically finished.

Rates were set, menus were set, every single section on the site was designed, fonts were made to be selectable, even all visual elements were made so that they could be viewed, selected and adjusted separately on mobile and desktop.

The project was delivered without any problems. The client’s sales have started.
