Starting Point An Unfinished E-Commerce Dream
Our client was a strong entrepreneur who had received franchises from many manufacturers in Turkey. However, despite working with different agencies and freelancers over the years, he had never achieved success in the Shopify integration process. Products fed from XML files could not be transferred correctly; only 500 products could be listed in the store instead of hundreds or even thousands of products.
Product names were left with raw content from the manufacturer, no e-SEO work was done, even catalog integrations for Meta were tied to broken links from a site that was closed on Wix. When users clicked on products from ads or catalogs, they encountered 404 error pages. No campaigns were managed on the Google Shopping side.
The New Shopify Layout Built on the Ruins
When we got involved in the project, there was a site about to be demolished and a business about to close. But we believed in our client’s brand and rebuilt the whole process step by step.
We’ve organized the Shopify setup steps from scratch.
We ensured branding for all products: we aligned product names with the customer’s brand and created a strong brand perception.
We produced 500 thousand words of SEO compatible text for product content.
We made custom enhancements at the SQL level to run multiple XML files at the same time and seamlessly integrated 3 separate XML sources into Shopify. So now the XML and Shopify integration was solved in one go.
Big Steps on the Technical and Performance Side
We stepped in where the standard integrations offered by Shopify were insufficient. By making serious optimizations on the theme side, we increased the Google speed scores of the site to 100 on desktop and 80 on mobile.

Meta catalog integration has been completely updated, non-working links have been cleaned.
The meta information of each product was reviewed one by one.
All products were confirmed to be actively working.
All global payment infrastructures including Shopify shoppay have been activated.
Integrations were completed for international sales through global Shopify channels.
