When we sat down at the table, we were faced with one of the most challenging arenas in digital marketing. It’s a high-budget and highly competitive industry where every click is worth its weight in gold. As a strategic challenge, the use of competitor brand names was banned by Google, forcing us to come up with more creative and targeted word strategies.
Our client’s expectations were clear: To be a consistent leader in the market with a high budget and to get the maximum number of calls and sales. But the accounts that had been suspended several times in the past showed us from the beginning how delicately balanced our business had to be.

Conclusion
Technically, we achieved our goals. We optimized the ads with the strategies we developed, protected the budget with negative keyword lists and bot blocking systems. After about a month of work, we locked our client’s phones and managed to generate the targeted business volume.
But success in digital marketing is not just about a good advertising strategy. It requires technical competence and a transparent partnership. Some events beyond our control completely changed the course of the project:
Advertiser Verification Crisis: “Advertiser verification,” which Google has now standardized, is an essential step for transparency. However, our client was unable to complete this verification for internal reasons.
Unexpected DNS Change: Just when the campaigns were on track, a midnight DNS change by the hosting company triggered Google’s alarm systems and all our campaigns were immediately suspended.
All our appeals for suspended accounts were fruitless because the fundamental problem could not be solved: An unverifiable business profile. Although we tried to restart the process with a different Google dashboard, Google started requiring this verification at every step of the way for a site that was once caught in their policies. Unfortunately, our client’s insistence on not taking this step led to the end of the operation.
The most important lesson from this experience is this:
Even if you build the best advertising campaign in the world, all your efforts can go down the drain in an instant if you fail to comply with the basic policies and transparency principles of platforms like Google. Success depends on a combination of technical expertise and the full and transparent cooperation of the client. Unfortunately, operations where such basic steps cannot be taken are not sustainable.
